The INTECH Group of Companies summarizes its performance in 2024

In 2024, INTECH, together with its associated companies, increased its revenue by 29% compared to 2023, reaching UAH 4,125 million. During the reporting period, the group paid UAH 352.22 million in taxes to budgets at all levels — a 111% increase compared to 2023.

“2024 proved once again that it is possible to develop and remain a reliable partner even during the difficult conditions of war. The entire team’s efforts allowed us to ensure stable production, logistics, and processing operations. Every indicator – from railroad cars to rare gases – is the result of the selfless work of our people,” says Serhiy Melnychenko, General Director of INTECH. “In these difficult times, our activity is intended to support the country’s economy. In 2024 despite the war and the military operations close to some enterprises, the Group’s businesses invested UAH 24.55 million in their development. In 2025 we plan to allocate about UAH 28 million to continue investing in asset development.”

Commercial logistics

In 2024, INTECH`s logistics business showed significant growth in operating performance due to adaption to market challenges. Thus, the logistics team ensured the transportation of 1.25 million tons of cargo, 28% more than in 2023, of which 94% was by railroad. In Ukraine, the volume of exports delivered by railroad increased from 38% to 48% of the total volume of transportation. In the reporting year, although the rental rate for railroad cars fluctuated due to the shortage of rolling stock and the cost of repair works increased by 20%, we shipped more than 17 thousand railroad cars, 27% more compared to 2023. To ensure the growth of transportation volumes during seasonal peaks, the number of railroad cats in operation was increased to 1,000 units. The recovery of port infrastructure allowed us to optimize logistics and reduce cargo delivery time.

Portinvest Logistic made a significant contribution to the year-end results. In 2024, it organized the transshipment of 2.6 million tons of cargo, which is 52% more than the previous year. 92 vessels received agency services, which is 19% more than in 2023. The main cargo categories are still clay, metal products, iron ore concentrate, and oil cakes. The company also expanded its import transportation, namely mineral fertilizers and salt.

Industrial waste processing

As of the end of 2024, Recycling Solutions sold 1.86 million tons of bottom-ash materials and smelter slags, 34% more than in 2023. The main driver of growth was sales of granulated slag, which increased by 39%. The company ensured 80% of the total granulated slag export from Ukraine to the EU by supplying 718 thousand tons. Microsphere exports also increased (+16%). The product was delivered to the Netherlands, Italy, and Turkey. In Ukraine, the sale of dump slag increased to 426 thousand tons (+17%), and of bottom-ash materials to 349 thousand tons (+24%) due to the support of state infrastructure programs and private construction.

Arnox also continues its cooperation with foreign customers and exported 17,000 m3 of rare gases in the reporting year. Moreover, Arnox sold 16 thousand tons of technical gases, which is 11% more than the previous year. Oxygen sales showed the highest growth by 26%.

In 2024 the Ukrainian Mineral Fertilizers produced 4.2 thousand tons of granulated ammonium sulfate. The product is a valuable fertilizer for Ukrainian farmers. Its annual sales volumes are 6.3 thousand tons.

Regen continued its activities of transforming hazardous coal mine methane into electricity. As of the end of 2024, the cogeneration plant utilized 879 tons of methane and produced 5,020 MW of energy.

Goods and services for the manufacturing industry

PVP Kryvbasvybukhprom PJSC increased its gross revenue by 32%. The main growth factor was the increase in the volume of mined rock blasting to 39.2 million m³ and the production of 42 thousand tons of technological substances (+45%). The enterprise has the status of critical for the economy of Ukraine; thus, it not only maintains stable operations but also regularly improves production processes and contributes to the social and economic development of the region. In the reporting year, the total investment in business development and technical re-equipment amounted to UAH 13 million.

Apart from supporting all production processes, INTECH Group assets invest in personnel, aid the Armed Forces, and all employees who defend Ukraine. In the reporting year, the average compensation was increased due to improved operating performance and salary growth. The total amount of expenses to aid the Armed Forces of Ukraine was over UAH 2.7 million.
