Ukrainian and Dutch investors launch construction of the “Fidnova Center” plant in the Cherkasy region

22.10.2025

The investment company EFI Group, together with its partners, has started construction of the modern “Fidnova Center” plant for the production of high-protein feed additives and animal fats in the Cherkasy region. Despite the war, Ukrainian businesses continue to invest in development: €14.4 million has been invested in the first stage of the project, with total investments expected to exceed €20 million.

The majority investor in the project is EFI Group, together with its strategic partner — the investment company umgi, as well as leading Dutch and Danish technology and equipment manufacturers.

Andrii Gorokhov, CEO of umgi, noted: “Feednova is an example of a Ukrainian business that not only withstood the challenges of war but continues to invest in development and technology. We support projects that create a new industrial culture — focused on efficiency, sustainability, and respect for resources. Such initiatives lay the foundation for Ukraine’s future economic growth, strengthen communities, and demonstrate to partners that Ukrainian business thinks strategically. We are proud to be part of this story.”

The new facility will become the second plant under the Feednova brand, following the successful launch of the first plant in the Lviv region in 2021. Today, more than 80% of Feednova’s products are exported to EU countries. The company continues to expand its production lines and implement energy efficiency projects.

The launch of the new plant is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. The enterprise will create over 80 new jobs in the region and could become the first in central Ukraine to process raw materials from external suppliers.

“Fidnova Center” will provide a full range of services — from collection and transportation to preparation and processing of animal by-products. The plant will operate exclusively with fresh raw materials, ensuring the high quality of finished products.

The facility will include four production lines capable of processing more than 150 tonnes of raw materials per day and producing over 50 tonnes of finished products — including meat-and-bone meal, feather meal, blood meal, and animal fats. The plant will operate in accordance with GMP+ and ISCC international standards, with more than 80% of its products exported to the EU and Asia.

At present, the plant design has been completed and the general contractor selected. Site preparation works are already underway.
