UMGI BUSINESSES PAID UAH 817.8 MILLION IN TAXES IN 2025 — 30% MORE THAN LAST YEAR

17.04.2026

In 2025, the private equity firm umgi and its Ukrainian assets paid a total of UAH 817.8 million in taxes and fees to the state and local budgets of Ukraine. This represents a 30% increase compared to 2024, when total taxes and fees payments amounted to UAH 628.6 million.

The majority of these payments — UAH 593.2 million — were allocated to the state budget, playing an important role in ensuring the country’s financial stability and supporting its defense capability. An additional UAH 224.6 million was directed to local budgets in the regions where the firm’s assets operate, including communities in the Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Lviv, Vinnytsia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. The increase in tax contributions enables these regions to maintain infrastructure, create jobs, and secure sustainable local revenues.

“In wartime, business must serve as a reliable pillar of the state: responsibly fulfilling its obligations, paying taxes, and supporting the economy. Despite all challenges, our assets increased tax contributions, demonstrating resilience and commitment to the country,” said Andrii Gorokhov, CEO of the umgi.

The increase in tax payments in 2025 reflects umgi’s consistent strategy built on resilience, transparency, and responsible business practices. The firm continues to operate in Ukraine, adapting to wartime conditions and ensuring a stable contribution to the country’s economic development and future.
